Our Co-Founder’s Experience Includes:

• Over twenty years of alternative education experience. This includes ten years of experience as alternative school administrators, and ten years of experience in teaching and counseling in alternative education.
• Over four hundred hours of training in restorative practices through The International Institute for Restorative Practices
• Five years of experience training school administrators and staff  in the use of restorative practices in public and alternative schools across the country
• Five years of experience working in public schools

Combined Staff Experience and Qualifications:

In addition to our co-founder’s experience our staff for 2007-2008 has a combined 70 years of experience in education and counseling. Most of this experience is in the field of alternative and special education. Our highly qualified staff is experienced in working with at risk teens in: alternative school settings, public schools, day treatment facilities, partial hospitalization programs, and addiction treatment centers. Their combined work experience includes time spent as mainstream and special education teachers, counselors, crisis management worker, mobile therapist, work experience program supervisor, Psychiatric Technician, part-time GED instructor, program director for a partial hospitalization program, and program director of center for addiction medicine.
