The Learning Center at
the Lehigh Learning Academy
The Learning Center at The Lehigh Learning Academy is a Licensed, Private Tutoring and Academic Enrichment facility located in Nazareth Pennsylvania just minutes from the Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton areas.
Lehigh Learning Center will provide tutoring services for student’s grades six through twelve. These services will be available to the general public after school hours and on Saturdays. Tutoring will be provided by certified teachers in a classroom setting at our current location. The student to teacher ratio will not exceed 3:1. All materials available during regular school operations will be made available to the tutoring program. In addition students who do not regularly attend Lehigh Learning Academy will be encouraged, but not required to, bring the course work they need tutoring in from their home school.
Additionally, Lehigh Learning Center offers a Special Education program, with highly qualified staff, for students with IEP’s, ER’s or other learning challenges including Autism and Asperger’s syndrome.
Our staff has over fifty years of dedicated service to the community providing group and individual instruction to students in grades 6 through 12 with a wide range of abilities, including those with Special Needs.
Tutoring will be available for the following subjects and grade levels.
Mathematics 6-12
Algebra I & Algebra II
Geometry
Language Arts 6-12
Social Studies 6-12
Geography
American History
General Science
Computer Education 6-12
Business & Technology Education 6-12
Special Education/Learning Disabilities
Program Goals:
Complement current course work
SAT preparation
PSSA preparation
GED preparation
Provide assistance in core subject areas
Provide assistance regarding IEP goals
Tracking:
Each student at the Lehigh Learning Center is individually assessed upon arrival and his or her specific learning needs will be determined. This will enable our staff to develop a customized learning plan specific to your child’s needs. Their progress will be closely monitored and routinely evaluated with results presented to both student and parent on a bi-weekly basis.
Collaboration:
With your approval, the Lehigh Learning Center will work in conjunction with your child’s classroom teachers in a collaborative effort to ensure that preparation and progress at LLC develops into continued success and higher academic performance in the classroom.
